VibeThemes On Genesis Framework

You might have noticed that VibeThemes.com have a new design, well it is quite hard not to see the changes, but what you might not know is that VibeTheme’s new layout is based on Genesis Framework by StudioPress.

Genesis is WordPress theme framework in fact that offers many great extra functions to WordPress and it is called a parent theme. WordPress theme framewroks, or parent themes are built to work with other themes together called child themes.

Using a child theme lets you have a specific design (like this one) and might be some specific functions but the possibility to use all the functions given by the parent theme. Every time the parent theme will be upgraded to a new version will not affect the child theme so your custom design will not have to be modified.
