Thanks for those tips - however;
1. When I check auto-resize, it expands the images to much larger than the vslider size - which I don't want to happen, I want them the exact size I've set them, and centered in the vslider viewer
2. the vslider is exactly where i want it, it's centered within it's own div - so that's already working perfectly.

I guess my issue is that - say the vslider is 500x500 and i have an image that's 300x500, i want that image to stay that size and be centered with the 500x500 space of the vslider... does that make sense?

Thanks!

There are two steps you can follow:
1. Check Auto-resize in vSlider to avoid repeating of images.
2. If you are using vSlider in your theme by manually inserting the function in theme files. Try creating another div over vSlider and give it padding to align vslider to the place you want it to be.

Thanks,

Hello,

I'm attempting to align my images middle and center of the actual vSlider area, but I can't figure out where to set these controls. Also, when I've managed to use firebug and preview it with the images center, the previous image in the slide is still in the background and repeating ... how do I fix these things?

You can see the slider here:

Thank you!
