Just discovered this plugin - it looks great
I want to use it to implement a crossfading header, but when I select Fade as the transition type the slides do not crossfade with each other, but rather disappear and then the next slide fades in.
Is this a bug or by design?

@Ampa: Thanks, We have implemented fade effect by modifying the popular coinslider. The fade effect in vSlider 4.0 is single fade. However, as you have pointed out crossfade is much better than single fade transition. Thanks for the feedback, we will implement crossfade in our next plugin update.

I just forgot, If you want to include only a cross fade slider. Use
square per width: 1 and per height 1
setting and it would do the trick!
any updates on the fade / cross-fade plugin update or an ETA? Would really be a nice addition to this great plugin.
Hi, have been looking for hours to find a wordpress plugin letting me show images in a slideshow way (like vSlider does but also making use of fancybox-effect (clicking the image in the slideshow opens full size image in fancybox-popup) - is this possible with vSlider?
Tried it but can't get it to work.
Help appreciated.

@Kurt: Yes, this is possible but it is a bit complicated. Just a hint, you will have to give full image source in the image link [a tag] and give a class to the a tag in which the image appears.

Just tried this, twice on two separate clean installs of WP 3.1.3. Both give me "Unable to Add vSlider, try a different name." Reinstalled the plugin, deleted the default slider with all the instructions, nothing works.
Too bad seemed like a nice slider.
You were right, n i am really sorry. I missed a check in the latest version. Please try again. The problem has been rectified.

Hello, I have a Vslider installed V.4.1.1, and it works fine on the main homepage, I have WP 3.2.1 mode multisite. The problem is that the slider is not shown in the other homepage, checking, I found that the configuration of the plugin in the additional site, it not shows the vslider created in the main site. I have configured the plugin in my header template.

Hi! This might sound like a silly question but... can you get images from your Image Library?
The plugin description reads: "Get Images from Post or Page" which I take to mean the plugin will grab images posted to a Post or Page, but can you select specific images from your Media Library that are not in the Post or Page you're inserting the slider in?

Hello, I installed 4.1.1 VSlider to put in my home using the sidebar widget, but gives error, the Slide Show main site is not working and also the tabs (Tabs) do not work at home ... up to the sliders of the subject ... and everything works when I turn off VSlider ... ... I use version 3.2 of WordPress.
what might be happening? I would love to use VSlider ... it is all I need, but I have to fix the bug and I can not.

Hello Im Ricardo and Im creating a new website on wordpress, I dont know if this is the right section but Im having troubles with the puglin vSlider. My problem is the images, they dont appear anymore but the texts yes, but at the first time it worked 100%, but then I updated to some version and the puglin just broke, I tryed to Uninstall and nothing solved my problem. Hi, I'm testing out the slider and I can't seem to upload my custom images on the edit vslider page. I keep clicking the + link and nothing is happening. Also, the tutorials & faqs, as well as the themes & plugins pages are blank. Is there a compatibility issue with WordPress 3.4?

Yes, you can have multiple slides upto 21. Wait, you're missing something more here. the next update 4.2 version make vslider more cooler because it is now responsive, has more transition effects and faster to load.
4.2 update will be released soon.
